About The Position
Under supervision, is responsible for staffing the Skate Park; various other locations as needed Oversees assigned functional areas of the Skate Park; reports to the Recreation Supervisor on activities; carries out policies in dealing with specific groups; oversees the use of equipment and supplies.
Requirements
- Experience in the type of activities to be directed
- strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of: The problems involved in the leadership of several broad types of recreation activities.
- Recreation equipment
- skateboards, and helmets.
- Position requires employee to continuously stand, walk, talk or hear.
- May reach with hands and arms
- frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift up to 50 lbs.
- occasionally sit.
- Position requires employee to continuously work in outdoor weather conditions, and work with a variety of outside noise and light conditions.
