About The Position

This position is responsible for delivering programs and events directly to the public, including opening and closing facilities. It involves assisting with planning, gathering, and organizing supplies and equipment, as well as setting up, assigning duties, and taking down for programs and events. The role also includes performing cursory cleanup of facilities as needed, adhering to all City of Conroe and Center policies and procedures, and ensuring the care and safety of participants.

Requirements

• Experience in public program/event delivery and staff supervision
• Experience in working with children
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and customer service
• Knowledge of cash handling
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role
• Possession of a valid class "C" Texas driver's license or higher
• Ability to obtain relevant certifications within time period designated by supervisor
• Must comply with City of Conroe direct deposit payroll policy
• Must pass background check and pre-employment substance abuse screening as a condition of employment
• A motor vehicle record check and job-related doctor's physical exam may also be required
