Under the direction of the Parks & Recreation Director, this position will perform duties necessary to meet the needs of the community. This position will include assisting with program development, carrying forth prudent fiscal management and performing general clerical duties. Assist in the delivery of special events. Promote, organize, and stimulate good relationships with community and other interest groups and other agencies serving the area. Prepare accurate and appropriate program and facility information for seasonal brochures and other ; miscellaneous public information. Must be able to solicit sponsors and donations for programs. Must be able to perform duties necessary to support the Recreation Division by completing general clerical duties. Duties include, but are limited to answering telephones, taking, and recording registrations, customer service, taking applications and processing payments, creating payment and programming spreadsheets, and filing. Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly facility. Perform other duties and function as directed.
