About The Position
The Recreation Equipment Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and inventory management of fitness and recreation equipment within campus recreation facilities. This position is paramount for ensuring equipment safety, functionality, and longevity to support effective facility operations. Candidates will develop technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, inventory management experience, and independent problem-solving abilities. Additionally, candidates will strengthen communication skills through reporting maintenance needs and coordinating repairs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and fix equipment.
- Strong reliability and accountability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Ability to lift and move equipment as required.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on fitness and recreation equipment.
