About The Position

The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is looking for a friendly, confident and welcoming individual to run the bowling alley desk and assist guests with recreational activities. The Recreation Attendant's primary focus will be the Bowling and Arcade, creating an environment of fun and participation. This role involves interacting with people of all ages, including young children, and promptly reporting any maintenance issues to ensure the smooth running of the bowling alley.

Requirements

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.

Responsibilities

Proper cash handling procedures to include Point of Sale transactions, balancing daily receipts, balance bank, complete all closing reports and deposits.
Greet all guests and assist them in the bowling process; to include ringing up each transaction and provide proper shoe sizes, score cards, scoring directions as well as overseeing the lanes for needed repairs.
Maintain a clean facility and work area.
Maintain a safe work environment by promoting safe work practices and document any unsafe areas or practices with written documentation and work orders when needed.
Restock redemption items and tickets in the games.
Properly assist guests in a prompt and hospitable manner.
Document needed game repairs and communicates with the Engineering Department and immediate supervisor when games are not working properly.
Oversee guests and their use of the facilities to ensure safety at all times.
