As our Recreation Assistant, you will work closely with our Recreation Director to plan and facilitate safe, meaningful, and fun experiential activities for our students, both on and off campus. Recreation that aligns with our clinical philosophy offers novel and challenging experiences through which students gain insight into their behaviors and beliefs. These activities encourage self-reflection and help students develop new passions, outlets, and healthy coping strategies. This is a part-time position (approximately 16 hours per week, typically Fridays and Saturdays), primarily focused on outdoor recreation such as hiking, skiing, climbing, and similar activities. Additional hours may be available assisting with residential care, including group facilitation and supporting daily routines. Please Note: Experience in outdoor activities such as Hiking, Canyoneering, Rock Climbing, and Backpacking. There is potential for this role to evolve into a full-time position based on performance, program needs, and staff interest. Share your love of the outdoors and adventure while helping young women on their healing journey.
