About The Position

Looking to share laughs and smiles while making a difference? Forest Hill Heights is looking for a Part Time Recreation Aide to help to make long lasting memories for our residents! The hours for this position are 10:00am-6:00pm, 11:00am-7:30pm and 4:00pm-7:30pm with weekend and holiday availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift over 25 pounds
• Our ideal candidate is someone who displays great leadership qualities and effective communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in event planning or musical ability is a plus!

Responsibilities

• The creation and implementation of engaging recreation activities or programs for a diverse group of people
• Leading and supervising recreation activities to ensure residents are engaged in the activity, are having fun, and are all actively participating
• Encouraging participation in activities by promoting positive experiences events to residents
• The set up and take down of all planned activities prioritizing cleanliness and organization
• Communicating effectively with staff and residents to ensure a collaborative and uplifting environment
