About The Position

BINGO! We have just the job for you! Heather Heights is NOW HIRING A FULL TIME (30 hours) Recreation Aide. The hours of this position are Sunday-Thursday 10:00am-4:30pm. Come be a vibrant Recreational Aide and make a difference in our residents’ lives. In this role you will be expected to: Interact with residents and understand their needs and limitations with respect and empathy Develop, lead and engage in diverse activities that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities including but not limited to, arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, music sessions, outings, Holidays and special events Encourage the participation and social interaction of residents during group activities Monitor the behaviors and outcomes of an activity ensuring positive feedback and engagement Provide individual attention and planning to residents based upon his or her needs or interests, honoring residents’ requests is our specialty!

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to lift over 25 pounds

Nice To Haves

Experience with seniors is a plus!
