About The Position

Join BrightStar Care of Conejo Valley & Coastal Los Angeles as a Recovery Support caregiver, where you will provide compassionate care to children, adults or older adults in a supportive in home care environment. Requirements

• Lives in or near the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley or Coastal Los Angeles.
• Has at least 1 year of experience providing hands on care to individuals in need (children, adults, or older adults).
• Experience with caregiving, personal care, companion care, or roles such as Homecare Aide, DSP, Home Health Aide, or similar.
• Dependable, consistent, and someone families and clients can rely on.
• Holds current CPR/First Aid certification, or is willing to obtain it.
• Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with behavioral support or developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support with light housekeeping tasks
• Prepare simple meals and assist with nutrition needs
• Provide catheter care assistance as directed in the care plan
• Monitor client safety and comfort throughout the shift
• Support mobility and positioning as needed
• Report changes in condition to the care team or supervising nurse
