About The Position

CCAR is looking for a full-time Recovery Community Center Coordinator to coordinate and support activities and operations at designated recovery community centers. The ideal person will be enthusiastic, extremely well organized, and passionate about working closely with individuals in recovery. CCAR offers a highly attractive compensation package that includes competitive wages, benefits, paid holidays, and vacation time. A valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required. Traveling to various Recovery Community Centers is required.

Requirements

  • Two years experience in customer service or related field.
  • Proven track record in outstanding customer service.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, web-based platforms and database management.
  • Strong customer service ethic.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Cross-cultural skills and experience with culturally diverse populations.
  • A valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
  • applicant must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge about addiction recovery a plus.
  • Experience working in a non-profit environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to recovery community centers on a rotating schedule based on need.
  • Work closely with center staff and volunteers to support center activities and operations.
  • Provide telephone recovery support calls as needed.
  • Ability to provide additional support and resources to recoverees as needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and guide a recoveree during a time of crisis.
  • Support in tracking center visits, volunteer hours, meetings and events.
  • Training and facilitation.
  • Open and close recovery community center as needed.
  • Able to answer telephone inquiries related to agency programs, services and functions.
  • Database maintenance.
  • Other duties as required.
