Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Aide)

The Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Aide) is a critical team member responsible for monitoring and communicating with clients, providing rehabilitation groups under supervision, supporting client Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) if needed, and assisting in crisis intervention. This role ensures proper client care, including appropriate documentation per policies and procedures. The Kingsburg Healing Center's services aim to help clients recover with an enhanced sense of resilience, offering a wide range of wellness tools and staff support. The program's mission is to restore hope, empowerment, community/natural support inclusion, realized potential, and psychiatric stabilization in each client.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
- A compassionate mindset toward those who are in recovery
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and communicating with clients
- Providing rehabilitation groups under supervision
- Supporting client ADLs if needed
- Assisting in crisis intervention
- Ensuring proper care for clients, which includes appropriate documentation per policies and procedures
