Recovery Administrative Clerk perform the following functions: Assist members, branches, and other back office departments with any collection issues. Process and submit files as well as respond to attorneys’ request for information or documentation. Process/Work reports assigned. Skip Trace account to locate members, assets, etc.. for legal referral. Process recovery/charged off payments accurately and according to procedures. Responsible for assigning post charge off vehicles for Repossession with designated agent. Responsible for reviewing and presenting to the Lead Recovery specialist or Management, proposals from debt management companies including communicating with the MCU and the debt management company. You are responsible for handling the Guarantee of Titles on Charge off auto loans. Treat our members and internal staff with respect, empathize with their situation, and identify a win-win outcome for both the members and the credit union. Exercise sound judgment and discretion while remaining compliant with well-defined limits and guidelines. Provide technical solutions in support of MIDFLORIDA’s electronic services. Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism always. Exude a positive and professional attitude with members and partners consistently. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possess excellent customer service skills along with strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must have a strong desire to help people.
  • Proficient in the use of computers, the internet and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven collections experience with a financial company; experience with Skip Tracing and auto repossession is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Position is an "In office, NOT a remote position".
