About The Position

Synertex is seeking a Records Management / FOIA Specialist to support federal records processing, FOIA requests, and compliance with records management regulations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of FOIA, records management, or related experience
  • Experience with: FOIA and Privacy Act processes
  • Experience with: Records management systems
  • Experience with: Document review and redaction
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce experience
  • Records digitization/scanning experience
  • Knowledge of federal records retention policies
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL v4; Salesforce Admin; IAPP CIPP/G (Certified Information Privacy Professional - Government)

Responsibilities

  • Process FOIA and Privacy Act requests
  • Review, redact, and prepare documents for release
  • Maintain records in compliance with federal regulations
  • Utilize systems such as Salesforce for tracking requests
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather responsive records
  • Support records digitization and document management efforts
  • Ensure compliance with NARA and federal records policies
