This is a SCA position $25.39/hour with Health and Welfare $7.75/hour Minimum Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Must Have a Secret Clearance. Associates degree preferred. Experience with DoD automated maintenance information systems (REMIS, MAXIMO). Experience with DoD supply experience (supply operations, governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, etc) Knowledge of maintenance operation and logistics management of aerospace vehicles, engines. Familiar with asset receipt/departures, component removals/installations, aerospace vehicle configuration, Special Inspection and Time Change Item management, delayed discrepancy. Good organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good research skills. Strong work ethics. Strong computer skills. Responsibilities Manages, maintains, updates and disposes maintenance records in accordance with (IAW) publications. Applies manual procedures to document maintenance management information system. Organizes and standardizes variety of incoming hard copy records for actions (production work orders, work control documents, maintenance records, receiving and disposition documents) Analyzes, interprets, categorizes, and annotates maintenance actions performed on hardcopy records and inputs data into the DoD maintenance systems. Interprets maintenance data received on data discs from various maintenance data systems (IMDS, G081, DECKPLATE) Organizes, files, and maintains hardcopy records. Extracts existing hardcopy records, scans, creates electronic files, and transfers to ERM database. Copies/files/stores maintenance records on digital media into the ERM. Updates PowerPoint presentation slides with most current information and brief the presentations during weekly meetings. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Working Conditions The working conditions will mostly be a well-lit, air-conditioned shop environment. Physical Requirements This position must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. as well as have the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
