About The Position

The Records Clerk focuses on helping keep records organised, secure and easy for people to access. You’ll be involved in the day‑to‑day handling of both physical and digital records, including retrieval, sorting, archiving and disposal activities, as well as supporting the effective use of EDRMS systems. The work also includes responding to requests and enquiries in a timely and professional way so that customers receive consistent, reliable service. You’ll be part of a supportive team where guidance, shared knowledge and hands‑on assistance are always available. This collaborative environment helps make it easier to manage high‑volume periods; juggle shifting priorities and maintain strong service standards. With teammates onsite to help and offer direction, you can focus on delivering accurate, customer‑focused and dependable records services.

Requirements

  • A strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of your work and ensuring accuracy and reliability in all record‑related tasks.
  • Strong grasp of the State Records Act (NSW) and AS ISO 15489, with a clear understanding of statutory record‑keeping obligations.
  • Solid capability in applying records and archival management principles across systems, processes and daily practices.
  • Tertiary qualifications in information management or other relevant field and/or equivalent knowledge and substantial experience in the IT and /or records management industry.
