About The Position
The Automotive Reconditioning / Detail Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the reconditioning and detailing operations within Gray Chevrolet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. This role involves ensuring that all vehicles are cleaned and reconditioned to the highest standards before being presented to customers. Gray Chevrolet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is actively searching for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Service Department as our Reconditioning Manager. As one of the largest Chevrolet dealers in the Pocono Mountains, our loyal customer base means that our service department experiences high volume. We take pride in serving our community and treating our customers like family.
Requirements
- Prior experience in automotive reconditioning and detailing
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Must have a current Drivers License
- Pass a Drug Screening
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of reconditioning and detail technicians, and Drivers
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for vehicle cleaning and reconditioning
- Inspect vehicles to ensure quality control
- Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Coordinate with sales and service departments to prioritize vehicle cleaning and reconditioning
