ESSENTIAL DUTIES: · Maintain order of UVI/PDI parking areas. · Invoice ROs (repair orders) ensuring accuracy accounted for and that all repair orders are closed within a thirty (30) day work period. · Close ROs. · Review technician hours for accuracy at the end of each pay period. · Coordinate with Sales/Detail. · Check in new transport vehicles. · Develop repair orders by fully documenting customer information and vehicle maintenance, and mileage. · Keep sales/managers updated on status changes (cost, time or additional recommendations). · VIS or TIS all incoming vehicles for recalls or salvaged VINS to determine warranty coverage and check for open recalls to ensure they are performed. · Manage shop efficiency and technician productivity. · Communicate with management regarding comebacks, ensure that quality control is being performed. · Communicate with technicians and service writers if jobs are not going as planned and make adjustments accordingly. · Assist technicians with miscellaneous services. · Follow progress of each repair order. · Dispatch work to technician ensuring maximum technician hours. Oversee technician comebacks. · Report maintenance needs on shop equipment. · Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations for all hazardous wastes. GENERAL POSITION DUTIES: · Follow all procedures and policies set forth by management, the Employee Handbook and the Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy. · Keep a neat and orderly work station. · Be willing to perform necessary tasks outside of normally assigned duties and responsibilities. · Follow Ressler Motor Company's Philosophy, Values and Mission Statement. · Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer. · Follow all safety and health procedures to ensure a safe work environment. · Any other duties as assigned by management.
