Temporary Receptionist (Job ends 6/22/2026) Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, $17.00 hourly pay This position is responsible for: Answering the telephone courteously and directing calls to the appropriate department. Monitors security cameras and entryways to ensure visitors do not enter Louisville Area Command without an appointment. Records accurate and complete messages. Receives and acknowledges deliveries and donations. Greets visitors and clients and announces their arrival. Provides general information about The Salvation Army's operations and services. Key Responsibilities: • Project a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army • Customer Service • Answering phones and keeping logs Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: •Work is performed in a typical office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. What we are looking for in You•High School diploma or G.E.D. AND • three years of progressively responsible experience working with telephone switchboard responsibilities and monitoring security cameras OR • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
