About The Position

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional and welcoming experience while supporting daily office operations. This role is responsible for maintaining an organized front office environment and ensuring efficient communication and administrative support.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing role preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with a customer service-focused mindset
  • Working knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to take initiative and anticipate team needs
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, scanners)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training is a plus
  • While performing duties, must be able to sit, stand, talk, hear, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Must frequently lift and or move up to ten pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the office in accordance with established business hours
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls via a multi-line phone system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception and common areas
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Track and document visitor inquiries and call activity as needed
  • Monitor office supply inventory; order and restock as necessary
  • Operate standard office equipment, including copiers, scanners, and computers
  • Support general administrative and clerical tasks as assigned
