About The Position

The Receptionist performs a wide variety of receptionist, typing and clerical tasks related to office and program operations for the Warehouse. About the role: Serves as the first point of contact for those entering the office area of the distribution center, directing visitor traffic in and around the building, and providing proper supervision and guidance to maintain building security. Serves as the primary person responsible for answering incoming calls to the facility and routing to the appropriate party. Provides clerical support for the distribution center, including filing, data entry, record retention, correspondence, preparing reports, etc. Schedules meetings and ensures room reservations are in place, meeting spaces are set up and cleaned up, and other related details are handled. Receives and sorts incoming mail, distributing as appropriate. Prepares outgoing mail and packages for delivery to post office. Ensures office equipment is operating properly and works with supervisor to arrange necessary maintenance. Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards. Assists with providing program support in Social Services at the distribution center as directed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year receptionist and clerical experience
