About The Position

In this enhanced position, you will be the welcoming face and voice of Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF), setting the tone for every individual who calls or walks through our doors. Based in our Doylestown location, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and is passionate about helping others access mental health and wellness services. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to commute to the Doylestown office
  • Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, with or without accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Greet all individuals with professionalism, warmth, and respect.
  • Check clients in for appointments, verifying demographic and insurance information.
  • Use reports to confirm coverage for scheduled services and coordinate with billing staff as needed.
  • Maintain data integrity in the Electronic Medical Records system.
  • Complete daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage appointment cancellations for both clients and staff.
  • Answer and respond to incoming calls promptly, providing accurate information about LVF and community services.
  • Assess urgency of calls and transfer appropriately.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of LVF programs, admission criteria, and insurance coverage.
  • Verify insurance coverage for Outpatient Intake and explain consent for treatment requirements.
  • Schedule initial contacts for access to Outpatient Services.
  • Sort and process incoming faxes and related tasks.
