About The Position

This position supports the Director of Admissions and Admissions staff by providing reception services for customers both on the phone and in person.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • High school diploma
  • Prior office and receptionist experience
  • Possesses an upbeat, professional personality and is a team player
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and represent the company in a professional manner with all customers, personnel, vendors and students

Responsibilities

  • Answers and routes all incoming phone calls
  • Tracks Admissions phone leads
  • Opens facility
  • Inputs new leads in CampusVue
  • Greets all visitors and callers and answer inquiries
  • Gathers and track documents required for student files
  • Assists Admission Representatives in file preparation
  • Assists with ordering of office supplies
  • Orders new employee background checks
  • Sorts incoming mail
  • Orders meals for different school functions (e.g., new student orientation)
  • Takes pictures to produce student and faculty/staff identification badges
  • Maintains confidentiality of all business records and information
  • Provides assistance to other managers as appropriate
  • Handles day-to-day care of current students
  • Refunds money for vending machine errors
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Regular and reliable attendance
