This role is crucial to the firm, where your work will be paramount as a key component to the proficiency of our daily operations. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in shaping their initial impressions of our firm. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5+ years of related experience in an office environment
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a reliable manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional etiquette
  • Proactive, excellent time management, able to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks, and has a drive to continually learn and grow as a professional
  • Willing to work extended hours as needed during our busy tax season (January 1 - April 15)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a CPA or professional services environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk/lobby area of the office
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Schedule appointments for firm Partners (on occasion)
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for clients and effective support for internal staff
  • Process outgoing and incoming mail
  • Order supplies (on occasion)
  • Scan documents
  • Assist with scheduling, managing online portal for clients, and clerical processing of tax return packets
  • Assist with in-office events with set up and clean up duties (i.e. office breakfast, lunch, happy hours, or other events)
  • Assist Office Manager as needed
