About The Position

As the Turning Point for God Receptionist, you will receive and deliver all incoming calls in a personable and professional manner. First impressions make a difference! You may be the first and only Turning Point employee with whom most visitors and guests interact. Your friendly and relational personality will positively impact all whom you encounter on behalf of Turning Point for God.

Requirements

  • Dedicated to honoring Christ in words, deeds, and behaviors.
  • Share Turning Point’s passion to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Can accurately type at least 50 words per minute.
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Energized by being part of a team and can work independently with the same enthusiasm.
  • Have at least 2 years of related professional office experience.
  • Must be a like-minded believer and share our passion to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world
  • Candidates must demonstrate alignment with and support for our Statement of Faith. Agreement with this statement is a requirement for employment with Turning Point for God.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate’s or bachelor's degree, preferably in English or Literature.
  • Keen discernment, awareness, tactfulness, and critical thinking skills are highly desirable.
  • Relationships energize you, and you possess an uncanny ability to recall names and voices in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and deliver all incoming calls in a personable and professional manner.
  • Warmly welcome our visitors and guests, ensuring you gather the information needed to contact the receiving employee.
  • Screen visitors and guests who do not have prior appointments according to our written protocol.
  • Promptly respond to and assess all incoming calls and emails with friendliness, accuracy, and excellence.
  • Perform special assignments, including data entry, email processing, and other projects assigned by Customer Service leadership.
  • Maintain professional dress attire and conversations.
  • Serve as a valuable partner to the safety team by being the eyes and ears for the lobby and reception area.
