About The Position

Odyssey House is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist! Summary: Odyssey House's Mission is "Empowering people to heal and build better lives." Requirements

Willingness and ability to pass a criminal background check
First Aid and CPR Certification (available at Odyssey House)
Must meet employment eligibility
Must be able to work variable shifts as needed
Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of required pre-employment screenings, which may include background checks, fingerprinting, applicable sex offender registry screenings for Adult Residential roles, and other position-related verifications. Roles requiring driving are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and valid Utah driver’s license.

Physical Demands of the Job: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs., drive (or adequate alternate transportation), sit for prolonged periods, and perform light to moderate physical activity at times. Able to passively restrain residents without likely injuring yourself due to existing medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Completes appropriate service documentation when meeting with clients (financial contracts, UA results).
Attend weekly management meetings to coordinate interdepartmental needs and resolve issues. Takes notes and sends them to the appropriate persons.
Assist treatment team with support staff functions such as faxing, filing, copying, scanning, scheduling, customer service, receipts for payments, requests for documentation from external agencies, etc.
Assists/oversees walk through for safety, tracks safety equipment (fire ext., first aid kid, emergency. Lighting, etc.)
Complete other support activities for the treatment team as assigned, including light paperwork, filing, faxing, and delivery or pick-up of supplies.
Best Notes Maven – Provides support and training to staff regarding the use of Best Notes. Maintains the client database.
Support for clients, answers non clinical questions, problem solves non clinical issues. Makes a “first contact” call prior to the beginning of treatment. Educates clients on best practices for providing UA samples.
Administers and reports on OQ, NOMS and client satisfaction surveys.
Responds to all records requests by researching records needed, making copies as needed, writing a cover letter and ensuring the requests are delivered in a timely manner.
Report unusual or questionable activities to supervisor in a timely manner.
Light cleaning to maintain a professional appearance of office.
Other duties as assigned.
