About The Position

Tri-State Bobcat is a trusted provider of compact construction equipment, parts, and service. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming experience while supporting daily administrative, sales, and service operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers, vendors, and visitors; serve as the first point of contact for the facility
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, route calls appropriately, and take accurate messages
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk, lobby, showroom, and breakroom
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Provide general administrative support to sales, service, and management teams
  • Set up new customers and maintain accurate customer files and records
  • Prepare, type, and process work orders for final technician review
  • Perform daily credit card reconciliation and assist with sales-related documentation
  • Order and maintain office supplies, catalogs, and sales materials
  • Send emails, faxes, and other internal or external communications as requested
  • Maintain organized filing systems and support interdepartmental communication and coordination
