About The Position
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Receptionist/Pt Reg Rep for its North Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: answering phones, schedule patients, data input for insurance information, collect co-pays, and instructing of patients and visitors in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise. Education High School Diploma, GED or HiSET. Days: Monday - Friday. Every other weekend and Rotating holidays. Hours: Rotating M-F 8:45 AM - 7:30 PM. Every other weekend 8:45 AM - 5:30 PM. Rotating holidays 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM. $2.50 pay differential if you work Saturday and/or Sunday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday ask for details. Experience Prefer one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Keyboard and computer experience. Completion of Medical Terminology class required within one year of employment. Receptionist experience preferred, but not required. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire. Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
- Keyboard and computer experience.
