About The Position
Receptionist – Physical Therapy Southwoods Health Boardman, OH | 32 Hours Per Week Join Our Team Are you a friendly, outgoing professional who loves helping people? Southwoods Health is looking for a vibrant Receptionist to join our Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services team in Boardman. As the first face our patients see, you will set the tone for their recovery journey by providing a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience. Schedule & Benefits Hours: 32 hours per week, scheduled across 5 days per week (Monday – Friday). Shift Details: Shifts fall within our hours of operation: Mon, Tue, Thu: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Wed, Fri: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Work-Life Balance: Enjoy your weekends off! Key Responsibilities Patient Coordination: Greet patients with a smile and manage the reception area with high energy and exceptional service. Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments efficiently within the physical therapy department. Communication: Handle phone inquiries with a friendly demeanor, providing information and directing calls to the appropriate staff. Insurance Verification: Perform eligibility checks and authorizations to ensure accurate billing and coverage. Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient records and perform clerical duties to support the clinical team. Qualifications Personality: Friendly, outgoing, and energetic. We want someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with people! Experience: Prior office or clerical experience is required. Previous experience in a Physical Therapy or Medical Office setting is a significant plus. Skills: Strong communication, great attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Requirements
