About The Position

Oneida Health Hospital is currently seeking a full-time Reception Coordinator to work a days flex position in our Radiology Department. This position is responsible for performing administrative/clerical tasks to aid our technologists and radiologists in executing diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will have strong computer and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional patient care focused on safety and experience.
• Having a knack for attention to detail in managing our imaging schedule and patient records.
• Being able to work independently within a team-based environment.
• Showcasing your excellent organizational skills by managing our inventory of film and processing requests when needed.
• Courteously communicating on the telephone, relaying accurate messages to appropriate personnel, and answering patient call intercom promptly.
• Having a customer service attitude with patients/visitors/families and ancillary staff that visit the desk.
• Communicating effectively with other departments and ensuring information gets to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
• Providing training and participating in the orientation of new personnel.
