About The Position

Ship and receive product, conducting duties with Safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a Safety-culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.

Requirements

Frequently communicates and converses in English
Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
Basic working knowledge of computer applications
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred.
Maintain workspace in an organized and orderly manner.
Treat equipment with respect and report any equipment damage.
Work closely with maintenance to root cause problems and create practices to avoid damaging equipment.
Hand-off all equipment in an organized manner to other shifts.
Minimum of one year forklift experience
Frequent moving up to 50 pounds daily.
Able to work overtime and weekends as needed and according to CBA if applicable.
Continually remain stationary and move about on concrete surfaces for entire duration of shift.
Constantly tolerate extreme varied temperatures.
Frequently uses hand-eye coordination.
Frequently uses computer or electronic devices.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

Loads and unloads materials from inbound and outbound trucks
Verifies condition and quantity of materials being shipped or received
Moves, stores, stacks, and delivers materials and products to designated storage or production areas
Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts and walkers
Scans and verifies data in Adage matches actual shipments as needed
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Performs other duties as assigned
