We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Receiving & Storeroom Clerk to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team! Reporting to the Purchasing Manager you will: Receive and reconcile all deliveries with invoices on a daily basis Issue storeroom requisitions and maintain cleanliness Master our Package Processes that services our guests, departments, other areas like Marina

Requirements

  • Must be able to read/write/speak English
  • Positive work attitude and able to work under pressure
  • Able to lift 25 lbs and have organizational skills, computer experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in similar environment would be beneficial
  • Self-starting abilities and flexible work attitude, organized and not afraid to roll up the sleeves, flexible schedule, working weekends and Holidays may be required

Responsibilities

  • Receive daily deliveries and check accuracy invoice against PO in Craftable, make sure at the end of each day the PO’s for that day are reconciled and logged in and ready for accounting
  • Follow department SOP regarding short deliveries, inaccurate product or quality and other delivery mistakes
  • Master package process to make sure all packages are logged in on a daily basis
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with all departments to ensure a seamless operation with all involved.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all Purchasing areas, i.e. storerooms, office, loading dock
  • Participate in month-end inventories in all storerooms
  • Daily issuing of requisitions from storerooms and proper posting of paperwork before the end of day
  • Any other tasks assigned by Purchasing Manager or Director
  • Create and maintain vendor relationships
