About The Position

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for unloading incoming deliveries, verifying packing slips against physical items, and ensuring accurate receipt into inventory systems. This role plays a key part in maintaining stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a warehouse or a receiving environment is preferred.
Familiarity with inventory systems or scanning equipment.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to follow procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Unload incoming shipments using pallet jacks or forklifts.
Check delivery contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
Enter receiving data into warehouse systems or handheld devices.
Label products that have been received and stage them for put-away or inspection.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving areas.
Communicate with truck drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely processing.
Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
