Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch, located in Anaheim, CA is one of the world’s leading providers of Search & Rescue (SAR) and Human External Cargo (HEC) advanced mission equipment for civil, commercial, and military helicopters. Position Overview This is a union position covered under a collective bargaining agreement. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour per the union contract. The ability to pass a pre-employment background check and an FAA-regulated drug test is required. Location: Anaheim, CA (Onsite) Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm The Receiving Specialist will be responsible for receiving shipments of material from suppliers or customers and initiating the material movement to inventory or to the shop floor for repair. In this role, you will utilize the ERP system to manage the flow of materials and adhere to standard procedures. Organization and clear communication are essential as this role interfaces with departments throughout the business to coordinate on receiving requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 2 years in logistics or warehouse operations
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, taking direction from experienced peers, leads, and supervisors.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and intermediate computer skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift materials regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the receiving process.

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming shipments and assist with material movement at the dock.
  • Receive shipments into ERP system and move the material to inspection or stockroom based on requirements.
  • Coordinate with supply chain to resolve purchase order issues.
  • Coordinate with the customer team and manufacturing engineers to induct customer owed products.
  • Organize product in receiving area, ensuring proper labeling and clear visuals. Maintain a clean and orderly area to facilitate easy access.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and the use of safety equipment, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and the work area in a clean and organized condition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
