Reading and interpreting production schedules, job router cards, blueprints, non-conformance reports, and any other materials that summarize requirements for the building process. Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and various materials handling equipment. Inspect incoming goods before accepted; open boxes during unloading and assure no damage exists. Inspect and report box condition. Inspect saddles and box for repairs required to safely transport materials. Record on incoming paperwork, the box condition and if repairs are required. Notify customer service if box is in need of repair. Receive and check-in all stock orders delivered on site by various suppliers and trucking firms, signing and verifying receipt of all incoming supplies. Properly mark and tag all supplies received and match up paperwork to the proper Purchase Order. Notify the proper department(s) of goods received in-house and/or delivery of the goods to the person who did the ordering. Disassemble housings and remove bearings for incoming rolls. Organize parts on skids with tags identifying customer order number. Assist where-ever needed in the blasting booth, roll prepping, roll taping, making bonding agents, locating and identifying rolls, etc. Conduct periodic inventory checks. Maintain a clean work environment, floors swept, supplies properly stored, equipment cleaned and well maintained.
