About The Position

The Receiving-Mail Clerk reports to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations, Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative. This role is responsible for performing clerical and physical tasks in connection with receiving incoming shipments and mail in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Must successfully pass background clearance required by ICE and obtain PIV card and ICE email account.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Must successfully complete annual in-service training, and all customer training requirements, and maintain appropriate clearance.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year experience in shipping and receiving preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and implement the receiving of goods and the receiving of mail.
Receive and sign for certified mail and packages.
Prepare and maintain accurate tracking logs as required.
Liaison with staff from Enforcement and Removal Operations, Homeland Security Investigations and the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor.
Requires long periods of walking and standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Regular onsite attendance is required.
Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
Maintain accountability of property; adhere to safety practices.
Perform other duties as assigned within his/her scope of work as determined by management.
