About The Position

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

Maintain a truck schedule that is aligned with the performance of the
receiving team
Schedule appointments accordingly providing accurate information for delivery
drivers to arrive in the right place at the right time while holding in bound
freight companies responsible for timeliness
Communicate with merchandisers on ETA of incoming freight to keep customers
with backorders aware
Confirm arrival and paperwork before assigning a dock, freight carrier’s
scorecard, packing list/batch discrepancies, etc.
Prepare all batches and labels in advance for the scanner to accurately scan
in the inventory as it is unloaded
Adjust schedule accordingly based on actual receiving completion times to
ensure commitments are continually met
Provide insight on productivity, compliance, metrics, and efficiency
opportunities to the Dept. Manager through analysis and development of
reporting metrics
Create receiving batches
All other duties as directed by mgmt.

lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; advanced knowledge of
computer systems; advanced knowledge, and ability to train on scan gun
procedures; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of
employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions
of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping,
kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling,
lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 30 lbs constantly to
move objects.

Work Environment: Occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and
occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
