About The Position

EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED FOR DIRECT SHIP MERCHANDISER:

Order products from vendors to fulfill customer purchases.
Review vendor inventory feeds to ensure product availability and accuracy.
Monitor order status, shipping updates, and backorder information for all
direct ship orders.
Communicate with vendors regarding order fulfillment, delays, and product
availability.
Assist in resolving merchandise-related issues in partnership with Customer
Service.
Work collaboratively with departments including E-Commerce, Merchandising,
Customer Service, to ensure order accuracy and completion.
Respond to sales inquiries regarding product details, pricing, and
availability.
Maintain strong customer relations when working with both internal and
external partners.
Maintain accurate documentation of orders, vendor communications, and
updates.
Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Identify and escalate potential fulfillment or inventory issues proactively.
Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR DIRECT SHIP MERCHANDISER: High School diploma or
equivalent required; Previous experience in merchandising, retail, supply chain,
or E-Commerce preferred; Strong organizational and time management skills with
the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Excellent communication and
problem-solving skills; Ability to work collaboratively across multiple
departments; Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency; Proficient
in basic computer applications and data entry; Ability to adapt in a fast-paced
environment; Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with
no more than 2 traffic violations and/or 1 chargeable accident within the past
three years; Knowledge of company policies, safety procedures, and merchandise
handling procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions
of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping,
kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling,
lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 5 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled environment.
