The Receiving Lead is responsible for real time analysis, coordination and balance of Receiving Operations including allocation of tasks to other team members. Other responsibilities will include: Recording and reporting of inbound deliveries. Provides support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner. Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Provides administrative support for the Receiving Managers. Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems. Support put-away and unloading operations as needed. Under direct supervision of the DC Receiving Managers. Work is performed within standard policies and procedures with opportunity for unreviewed decision-making. All other duties as assigned. Strong leadership skills and capabilities. Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie. Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize trends or patterns in productivity data. Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
