About The Position

Auburn is a leading developer of sensors, controls, and software that provide operational efficiency improvements and EPA compliance for large air pollution control systems, powder processing filters, and industrial dust collection/ventilation systems. Recently acquired by the Nederman Group for developing IIoT and connected services for such applications, Auburn products and services are leading solutions for preventing hazardous particulate emissions from process industries (power, cement, steel, etc.) improving filtration and overall plant operation efficiency in powder processing industries (pharmaceutical, food, chemical, etc.), and capturing and controlling dust generated within industrial discrete manufacturing industries (automotive, woodworking, welding, etc.). The Receiving Inventory Associate will support the supply chain team by handling daily receiving and inventory management tasks. This role will transport inventory from warehouse to work center locations while maintaining an accurate record of stock, identification of parts, and transactions. Responsibility will additionally include unloading, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, accurately recording stock, managing discrepancies, and organizing items in designated storage areas to maintain inventory footprint.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years of increasingly responsible experience in a receiving or administrative department preferred
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lift heavy items, stand/walk for extended periods
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Basic math skills and computer proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks, check items against packing slips/invoices for accuracy and note discrepancies such as quantity, revision, quality and damage.
  • Log data, update inventory systems, and perform cycle counts.
  • Transportation of inventory from warehouse to work centers and vice versa.
  • Sort, label, and place items in appropriate locations, ensuring organized storage and assisting with restocking shelves.
  • Store shipping documents, maintain records, and correspond with suppliers or internal teams about issues.
  • Assist with packing, labeling, and loading outbound orders as necessary.
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures, keep the work area clean, and operate equipment like pallet jacks.
