About The Position
Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. Full Time Warehouse Receiver Hourly – Weekly Basis Forklift Driver Experience needed Pay: $18.40- $18.90/hr. Job Summary: A Warehouse Receiver is responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of product and placement in specific areas of the warehouse. Received goods are unloaded and content is broken down and reviewed to ensure the correct items and quantities have been delivered based on the purchase order.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have forklift experience/license
- Good communication skills, both written and oral in English
- Good organizational skills
- Possesses basic math skills
- The ability to multi-task
