Together, we’re shaping the future of food — one plate, one person, and One Fine Family at a time We are currently hiring for: Receiving Coordinator The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate reception of raw materials and supplies. This pivotal role involves coordinating inbound shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating closely with carriers and internal teams to support seamless operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and receiving processes, including knowledge of shipping documentation and freight handling procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues in the receiving process.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse and transportation operations.
  • Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, verifying accuracy and inspecting for damages.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule deliveries and ensure timely receipt of shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate placement of received materials in designated storage locations.
  • Generate receiving reports and maintain accurate records of all inbound shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments such as sales, inventory, and warehouse teams to facilitate seamless inbound logistics.
  • Organize and prioritize incoming shipments based on urgency and operational requirements.
  • Process checks and other forms of payments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and transportation regulations during the receiving process.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or excesses to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline receiving processes and improve efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
