About The Position

Dematic has an immediate opening for a Receiving Clerk at our Memphis, TN warehouse. This position is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming shipments, ensuring that the correct quantities and types of items are delivered, accurately recording data, and maintaining organized and up-to-date inventory records. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $16.20 - $20.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do In This Role: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy of quantities, descriptions, and condition of materials. Accurately record receiving data into warehouse management systems and update inventory records as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards and warehouse procedures. Communicate promptly with Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable teams regarding discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items. Assist with cycle counts, stock rotations, and reconciliation of inventory variances. Ensure all received goods are properly labeled, stored, and distributed to designated areas. Coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve shipping or delivery issues. Prepare and maintain accurate receiving documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and adjustment reports. Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance receiving accuracy and warehouse efficiency. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and in compliance with company policies.
