SUMMARY Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

Requirements

  • Basic reading/writing skills
  • Ability to read and understand all job specifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 12 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

  • Pulls Orders for delivery or pickup
  • Receives New Goods
  • Stock Shelves
  • Pull Bills of Material and Other Day-to-day Stockroom Functions
  • Data entry into Visual and Integra
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring inventory levels
  • Ability to interpret and disposition packing slips
  • Understand the Daily Operations of the shipping and Receiving Department
  • Opens containers.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
  • Moves raw material through the plant to its dedicated work area as requested.
  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
  • Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
  • Loads industrial tugger with tugger carts.
  • Lifts heavy objects(up to 50 lbs) by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area
  • Assembles crates to contain products for finished goods.
  • Process part shortages through Constraint Board System
  • Process and disposition mis-shipments
  • Other duties as assigned.
