Receiving Clerk F&B (Part-Time)
About The Position
The Receiving Clerk of Food and Beverage is responsible for receiving, verification and delivery of all goods and products for the hotel. Additionally responsible for ensuring that the proper storage procedures are being followed for all inventories and that all purchase orders are processed correctly and on time. Schedule Details: We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in a part-time capacity, working two days per week. Requirements
- Certification to operate forklift required.
- Ability to push and pull carts and or equipment weighing up to 500lbs required.
- Must be able to bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 100lbs regularly.
- Must have knowledge of proper temperature storage of products and goods.
- Must be able to work independently without supervision.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner.
- Must be able to complete all safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
- Prior experience in procurement system preferred. Knowledge of Birtchstreet procurement system helpful.
Responsibilities
- Process and fulfill requisitions for all departments purchasing and product needs.
- Conduct and complete monthly inventories of products and goods within the main storeroom.
- Responsible for verifying Purchase Orders and processing invoices for payment with Accounts Payable.
- Responsible for receipt verification of all Purchase Orders in the BirtchStreet procurement system.
- Responsible for organization and storage of all inventories for the Main Storeroom
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all Guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, and thank Guests with genuine appreciation.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of the other employees.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Perform all other job duties as requested by Management.
