· Add appropriate labeling of shelves, parts, and bins. · Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requestion to assist with items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. · Receive incoming products, count, record, and label receipt of materials. · Visually inspect deliveries for missing, damaged or rusty parts. · Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisor. · Assist other departments as requested and maintain an organized work environment. · Assist inventory control in counting and organizing materials stored in various bin locations. · Prepare and maintain records of the amounts of materials or items received or distributed. · Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to task at hand to produce error free and damage free results. · Requires the ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions, such as bills of materials, material pick lists, shipping documents, or equivalent. · Must be able to handle, move and locate material as needed. · Ability to communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills effectively and professionally. · Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems. · Follow safety rules and keep the work area in a clean and orderly fashion. · Participates in and completes assigned training. · Interview, hire, and train new associates. · Supervise timely and accurate data entry for all services performed. · Document and discuss with employees any concerns with performance, attendance and behavior. · Balance time for each employee in the department. · Prepare and discuss employee annual performance reviews. · Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts and other equipment.
