About The Position

The receiving and inventory control associate will be responsible for managing incoming deliveries by verifying and signing for shipments, unloading and storing the received items, delivering items/product to the correct requestor/department, processes all paperwork in a timely manner, and ensures that safety regulations are met. Works under the supervision of the Facilities Manager

Requirements

  • Consistently arrives at work, in uniform/appropriate/professional attire and completes all tasks within established time frame
  • The ideal candidate will possess previous experience with shipping and receiving or a related position.
  • Knowledge in the procedures of shipping and receiving.
  • Direct customer interaction is frequently required and excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Strong computer skills, data entry, Microsoft Office and CMMS is a plus.
  • Detail oriented, flexible, and exhibit effective prioritization and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works in a time effective manner and follows systematic approaches and conducts appropriate follow-up.
  • Utilizes creative thinking skills to identify problems and develop solutions.
  • Works effectively both independently and as a team.
  • Experience working in a medical office environment.
  • Ability to safely operate manual / electric pallet jack.
  • This role requires standing for long periods of time, kneeling, pushing, reaching, stooping/twisting, climbing, crouching, grasping/gripping, pulling, reaching overhead, and squatting.
  • Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
  • Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
  • HS Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with exceptional service.
  • Responsible for making sure that all inbound packages are processed in an orderly manner with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with established procedures.
  • Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods.
  • Organize stock within the appropriate store rooms by properly storing goods in their designated location.
  • Interface with purchasing personnel to ensure purchase order receipts are correct, especially when issues arise.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for one's actions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by performing housekeeping duties and cleaning.
  • Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
