We are currently looking for a dynamic full-time Rebate Specialist to join the team in Huntington, WV .

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in rebate management, accounting, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with rebate tracking software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain all vendor rebate agreements, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates.
  • Track and analyze sales data to determine rebate eligibility and forecast potential earnings.
  • Prepare and submit rebate claims to vendors in accordance with contract terms and deadlines.
  • Reconcile rebate payments received with submitted claims and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and accounting teams to ensure alignment on rebate program execution.
  • Maintain detailed records of rebate transactions and provide regular reporting to management.
  • Monitor rebate program performance and identify opportunities for optimization or new rebate opportunities.
  • Assist in audits related to rebate programs and provide supporting documentation as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends and vendor program changes to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
