Sun Auto Tire & Service is the fastest growing, top 10 independent tire dealer in the US with 525+ stores operating under multiple brands. We are increasing our footprint rapidly through both organic growth and acquisitions and seek candidates who are looking for a long-term career path and capable of growing into roles of greater responsibility. The Rebate Intern will support the Finance team in rebate-related accounting and analysis activities while gaining hands-on exposure to core business operations. This paid internship is designed as a learning experience and provides practical insight into financial processes within a dynamic business environment.
Requirements
- Strong analytical thinker with the ability to communicate within the business.
- High proficiency in Excel
- High personal standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to multitask assignments, projects, and daily responsibilities with accuracy and a high level of comfort working with all levels of employees.
- Strong attention to detail and a bias towards accuracy
Responsibilities
- Participate in the rebate accounting close process, including performing vendor reconciliations and recording journal entries.
- Perform financial analysis of revenue and expenses across key business areas.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed, gaining an understanding of the entire business and cross-functional operations.
