About The Position

As the Real Property Technician , you will provide RP / Real Estate Management and Accountability for assets and programs under the control of the installation that comply with current DoD and AF policy through maintaining and keeping current the AF APSR to an auditable level. This position is in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain accurate records for all base real property assets (buildings, land, and infrastructure). Resolve, track and report unliquidated obligations and unmatched transactions. Run daily and monthly reports necessary to satisfy. Transfer and Acceptance of US Air Force Real Property, to support forms and submits to Real Property Management for review and signature/approval. Prepare Audit Sample Reports as required. Maintain voucher registers of all vouchers, detailing acquisitions, capital improvements, disposal, capital decreases, area/capacity changes and category code changes pertaining to accountable real property at the installation. Work with various Engineering departments to capitalize new construction, alterations and facility improvements Support the Engineering Work Management departments and Customer Service Desk, as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three (3) years’ experience in each of the following: Easement’s, Real Estate Accounting, and Real Estate Transactions.
  • Real Property experience on a government/Military installation.
  • Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) to effectively schedule and communicate all aspects of project requirements.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Jordan
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Project.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD 2012 or later versions.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, codes, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Air Force Information Management System is desired
  • Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
