The Real Estate Representative is responsible for independently managing real estate activities on all but the most complex company-generated and New Customer Construction (NCC) projects. This role uses public and company records to research and determine ownership, operating rights, and other real property issues. Additionally, this role is responsible for preparing legal descriptions and appraisal reports, as well as preparing correspondences and advanced real estate documents (i.e. easements, deeds, permits, consent agreements, etc.). The Real Estate Representative also negotiates, obtains, interprets, and defends Puget Sound Energy's (PSE's) operating rights on public/private property. They are also responsible for responding to internal and external customers regarding any real estate issues. The Real Estate Representative upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities, as well as promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
